Kimberly Wood - LCPC, CPTT, CCBRT-Candidate
Kimberly is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and graduated with her Masters of Professional Counseling from Olivet Nazarene University. She specializes in partner betrayal trauma and couples betrayal recovery as well as working with couples to improve their relationship and relational skills. She has undergone advanced training with IITAP (International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals) to become a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist and Certified Couples Betrayal Recovery Therapist (June 2024). She has also been trained by John and Julie Gottman in the Gottman Couples Therapy Method and specializes in working with couples.
Kimberly seeks to use evidence based treatment modalities while building a warm therapeutic alliance with each of her clients to find hope, healing and change in the areas they feel stuck. She seeks to take a holistic approach to improve in all areas of well being including mental, emotional, spiritual and physical.
Kimberly enjoys adventuring with her husband Brian seeing as many National Parks as possible, seeing her children and grandchildren as often as she can, running with her running group and constantly learning and growing personally and professionally.
